General Aviation incident in Luoyang

A GA aircraft landed on a mountain in Luoyang's Cijian Country at 8 pm on May 12th. According to the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China, Luoyang Branch, the aircraft involved was one of their SR-20 training airplanes. The reporter was told: “Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) is a unique system that can fully deploy a parachute in case of emergency to protect the safety of the crew. So it was forced landing, not a crash."

The Luoyang Branch School has 524 staff in total, among which there are 74 flying instructors and 214 professional technicians. They operate 75 training airplanes, which include 64 primary training aircraft, 8 intermediate training aircraft, 3 advanced training aircraft, and 5 flight simulators.
