A GA Airport in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province will open this October

The Zhuzhou GA Airport will open this October, and its new airport road will put into use in September.

The airport will serve as a platform for aircraft manufacturing, test flight, and GA business. The Phase I project includes an 800 meters long, 30 meter wide runway capable of handling the Harbin Y12 and all kinds of helicopters. In the long-term plan, a 2,600 meter long runway capable of operating various types of business aircrafts and medium-sized airliners will be added. The airport is planned to be the second biggest airport in mid-eastern Hunan province.
