China, Singapore 5th senior officials commission meeting held

The 5th senior officials’ commission meeting was held in Guilin, Province of Guangxi, from November 12th to 13th. The delegation of the Civil Aviation Administration of China led by Vice Minister Yang Guoqing met with the Singapore delegation led by Brig. Gen. Cho Shing Kwok, the permanent secretary of Singapore’s Ministry of Transport. The two senior officials reviewed the past and present development of the civil aviation relationship between China and Singapore. The two expressed their intent to further strengthen the mutual exchange and cooperation on civil airport operation of the two countries. The meeting also addressed the interest of the two countries in promoting civil airport management and research and development, as well as exchanging new technology and training on aviation security. The minutes of the talks of the 5th Meeting of China and Singapore Civil Aviation Cooperation Commission were officially signed by Vice Minister Yang and Brig. Gen. Cho on behalf of their respective governments on November 13th.
