Transaero Airlines opens flight to Guangzhou

Russian Transaero Airlines has opened a once-a-week flight from Moscow to Guangzhou with a stopover at Sanya in China. International flights to Haikou or Sanya by foreign airlines could be extended to other mainland cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macao. Russia is the second-biggest passenger source of Hainan province. Last year, Russian tourists coming to Hainan numbered 85,000, up by 192% on a year-on-year comparison. Transaero Airlines also has flights to Sanya from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. Last March, mixed passenger and cargo flights were opened from Moscow to Sanya.
