China buys radar equipment for Games

China’s Air Traffic Management Bureau imported an advanced radar system that will be used for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Thales primary and secondary radar navigation equipment was imported through the Dalian Dayaowan port. After installation, the radar equipment will support Dalian area in serving the Beijing Olympics in air traffic control.
