Aerospace-Connection is a professional flight school certified by the Canadian Aviation Administration. In its first year of operation, the Qingdao Branch School plans to recruit 50 students. After studying aviation English at the Qingdao Branch School, the students will then be sent to Canada for flight training.
According to ICAO’s forecast, China will face a shortage of 18,000 airline and GA pilots by 2015. In the meantime, China will only be able to train 1,500 pilots each year. Next year, the Aerospace-Connection Qingdao Branch School will recruit 120 students. Currently, the school plans to implement domestic flight training in Qingdao in three years.
