The Civil Aviation Administration of China renewed the operating license of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on May 23.
The airport’s east runway was upgraded from 4E to 4F, paving the way for the landings and takeoffs of different aircraft from the B747-400 and below to the A380, the largest aircraft in the world today. The airport’s manual has been revised three times since 2005, with 28 chapters and more than 560,000 Chinese characters.
