Zhonghang Avionics founded in Beijing

Zhonghang Avionics Company Ltd of AVIC 1 was founded in Beijing on September 25th. The company’s establishment marked the beginning of China’s leap in avionics. China has now moved forward from developing equipment and subsystems to developing and integrating giant systems. The company will facilitate the centralization of domestic advanced avionics technology and high quality resources, develop homemade civil large aircraft avionics system and equipment, improve international popularity and explore the international market. AVIC 1 integrated the group-affiliated avionics of three aircraft design institutes and the entire resources of five airborne avionics institutes to set up Zhonghang Avionics. This is in compliance with the strategy transferring policy of “specialization integration, capitalization operation, industrialization development.” The company, with its headquarters in Beijing, was established according to the requirements of modern enterprise, and has a registered capital of RMB 300 million.
