Wenzhou Airport expansion to cost RMB 1-B

The expansion project of Wenzhou Yongqiang Airport in Zhejiang province has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The Civil Aviation Administration of China and Wenzhou City will fund the expansion of the flight area, which will cost RMB 1 billion. The current runway will be extended by 800 meters and will be transformed into a parallel taxiway. Other facilities, including a fence, will also be built.
